A Huge Product Launch on WordPress Birthday by Code and Core

The WordPress Ahmedabad Meetup recently celebrated the 23rd anniversary of WordPress.
The event was held at Mad Over Grills in Ahmedabad. The crowd was a proper mix of WordPress developers, designers, agency owners, QA folks, digital marketers, freelancers, and business owners who’ve built their livelihoods on the platform.
Code and Core was there as the Anniversary Celebration Partner, and we also ended up being the biggest financial contributor for the evening.
These community spaces only stay alive when people and companies invest in them. We’d rather be part of keeping something real going than show up just for the logo placement.
CEO, Mayur Soni
Speaking at the event, Mayur Soni, CEO of Code and Core, enlightens the importance of the WordPress developers and how their developed plugins are playing a beneficial role to all businesses. He shared how the entire WordPress community is connecting all this chain and giving their hard time to help solving global business problems.
He further explained that the true impact of WordPress lies in how a single solution can benefit thousands of businesses through the developers who use it. SpeedyGo is one such example.
As Mayur explained, SpeedyGo is not a plugin that solves only 1 problem. That 1 Plugin is sharing 1 into how many developers across how many sites those developers are using in multiple ways
Let’s say SpeedyGo includes 11 powerful performance features. Now imagine just 50 developers using the plugin, with each developer managing 3 websites:
1 Plugin × 11 Features × 50 Developers × 3 Websites = 1,650 business challenges addressed.
That means it solved 1650 business problems in total which helps businesses to grow more and get more visitors and their retention time.
Whether you’re a developer, designer, QA professional, agency owner, director, or entrepreneur, we’re all here for the same reason — solving problems and building better digital experiences. That’s what brings the WordPress community together.
A Product Launch: SpeedyGo
Okay, the big thing. The part we’d been quietly building toward for a while.
We launched SpeedyGo at the event. It’s Code and Core’s own WordPress performance optimisation plugin, and it was built entirely in-house from the ground up. But before we tell you what it does, let us tell you why we built it in the first place, because that context matters.
| Why website speed actually matters
Every second of delay costs you around 7% of your visitors. Google also ranks slower sites lower in search results. So a slow website doesn’t just frustrate people; it quietly costs you traffic, leads, and trust every single day. If you’re looking to improve performance, check out our guide on The 7 Best WordPress Speed Optimization Plugins for 2026 |
Over the years of working on hundreds of WordPress sites for clients, we kept seeing the same pattern. Someone would install a caching plugin. Then a separate one for image compression. Then another for JavaScript optimisation. Then one for lazy loading. Before long, they’d have five or six different plugins, each built by a different team, each touching the same parts of the site, and they’d be spending more time managing plugin conflicts than actually making their website faster.
That’s the problem SpeedyGo is designed to end. It’s not a plugin that solves one small issu e. It handles caching, image optimisation, script management, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals improvements all in one place, built as a single coherent system so nothing steps on anything else.
Key Features:
- One-Click Speed Optimisation: Enable caching, compression, and code optimisation instantly.
- Smart Caching System: Automatically manages cache, preloading, and mobile optimisation.
- Image Optimisation & WebP: Convert images to WebP for faster load times without losing quality.
- Fully Automatic Lazy Load: Loads images and media only when needed to improve first-load speed.
- Fast & Lightweight: Built with clean, optimised code to keep your site light and responsive.
- Theme & Plugin Compatible: Works smoothly with most WordPress themes, page builders, and plugins.
And during the event, people also got to see SpeedyGo in action and were offered special community pricing as part of the Ahmedabad WordPress community celebration.

Networking
The meetup also turned out to be a great networking space for the Code and Core team.
During the event, they met and had good conversations with some well-known names from Ahmedabad’s WordPress community like WPFolks, Quicklead.io, WP Bunch Web Solutions LLP, ZealousWeb, E2M, and Jainil Nagar.

Beyond those names, we connected with developers just starting, freelancers building serious client rosters, agency owners managing teams across multiple projects, and business owners trying to get more out of WordPress without adding more complexity. Every conversation was a different lens on the same world.
At one point, someone described a performance problem they’d been dealing with on a client site for months: plugin conflicts, inconsistent load times, Google flagging Core Web Vitals issues. We realised SpeedyGo would have solved the whole thing. That’s exactly the kind of feedback that makes building something worthwhile. You hear from the people you were building for, and you realise you got it right.
| A note from us
Ahmedabad has quietly built one of India’s strongest WordPress communities. Deep talent, genuine people, and a spirit of sharing what you know. We’ll keep showing up financially, physically, and with products that actually help. Because this community is part of what makes our work better. |
Looking Ahead
WordPress has spent the last 23 years helping businesses, creators, and developers build on the web. As the platform continues to evolve, the expectations around performance, user experience, and scalability continue to grow as well.
Businesses that prioritize website performance are better positioned to meet these expectations. You can explore several proven WordPress website PageSpeed improvement techniques that help boost speed, usability, and search visibility.

At Code and Core, we believe that great products are built by understanding real challenges and creating practical solutions. SpeedyGo is the latest step in that direction, and we’re excited to continue improving it with feedback from the very community that inspired its creation.
A huge thank you to the Ahmedabad WordPress Meetup organisers, community members, partners, and attendees who made the celebration memorable.
Here’s to the next chapter of WordPress innovation—and to building faster, better digital experiences together.
